First Retirement Project

I finished my first retirement project. It’s not perfect. The pictures were taken to hide the fact that one of the legs isn’t exactly square. But I made the shelves from glued up lathe boards and they look ok. I hand chisled the slots to hold the connecting pieces on the legs. I’ll find out the name of those parts sometime. I didn’t do a great job, but I did an ok one.

The best compliment is that my sister asked me to make something similar for her daughter’s room. Hopefully, I will do a better job.
